Roadload Movano Car Transporter is featured in VRL Magazine |
 The Movano comes in more than a
dozen core and recognised multifunctional
conversion guises.
One of the newest is the car transporter/
recovery conversion engineered by lightweight
body builder specialist, Roadload of Norwich,
which spent 18 months developing the design,
adding another notch to the Movano’s
reputation for versatility and flexibility.
Roadload also offers similar conversions for
the Renault Master, Ford Transit, Fiat Ducato,
Peugeot Boxer and Citroen Relay and in
parallel produces a variant for the ground
maintenance industry, able to load 1-1.5 ton
grass cutting machines.

Roadload exhibited their new concept in machine/equipment loading onto 3.5 ton GVW chassis. Loading time is less than two minutes with this unique system that lowers to the ground in just eight seconds and has fixed ramps of only 1250mm rear mounted on gas struts.
The lightweight aerospace aluminium body and Roadload make this combination a great package that is fast, safe and boasts a big payload.

CARRY THAT LOAD

 Norris & Gardiner runs two types of vehicle transport systems, a self-contained load transporter (LT) and a 4x4-trailer combination.
“Each suits a specific aspect of the businesses grounds maintenance operations”, explains Richard Gardiner, managing director of the Woking-based family firm that was established in 1964.
The LT is dedicated to carrying the staff and machinery involved in the highways and urban area maintenance contract the company has with Runnymede Council, which involves mowing 36ha of grass annually throughout the borough.
